FIO Studio Rugs is produced by SUGO Cork is a Portuguese design brand dedicated to transforming one of nature’s most extraordinary raw materials into contemporary textile pieces. Rooted in the centuries-old cork traditions of Portugal, the brand brings craftsmanship, sustainability and innovation together in a collection of handwoven rugs that feel both timeless and quietly modern.

Each SUGO rug is woven manually on traditional looms by skilled artisans who carry generations of knowledge in their hands. The weaving process blends cork with wool and natural linen, resulting in textiles that are lightweight yet robust, structured yet soft, and visually expressive without excess. This fusion of craft and material innovation has become SUGO’s signature: refined designs that highlight the beauty of simple forms, subtle patterns and meticulously crafted surfaces.
